An independent record label and recording studio in Ubud, Bali. We make records the slow way and sell them without the theatre.
Reel Raw Records is three things sharing one roof: a label that puts records out, a studio that records them, and a shop that sells them to you directly. No distributor in the middle, no marketing department deciding what you're allowed to hear.

How we work
Everything gets tracked through the chain, never around it. Vintage tape, hand-soldered tube preamps, a wall of pedals older than most of the artists playing through them. No plug-in patch jobs. No presets pretending to be character.
The room is part of the instrument — cement floor, bamboo beams, and a Bali humidity that warms the low end and softens the top. You can hear the building on our records, and that's on purpose.
It's a slower way to make a record and it costs more takes. We think you can hear the difference, which is the only argument that matters.
The label
We put out music we'd buy ourselves. Runs are small and some are genuinely one-and-done — when a pressing is gone, it's often gone for good. That's not a scarcity tactic, it's the arithmetic of a small label pressing real vinyl.
The studio
The room is open to anyone making something, signed to us or not. Tracking, mixing, mastering, full production, live takes. Tell us what you're making and we'll come back with availability, rates, and a plan to get it on tape. No deposit to enquire, and you'll hear back within 48 hours.

The shop
Records ship free to every province in Indonesia, priced in Rupiah with tax already in the number. We pack them properly because vinyl travels badly when you don't. Right now we ship within Indonesia only — the shipping page explains exactly where we can and can't reach.
